THE VISIONARY REALM

Proverbs 29:18 “Where there is no vision, the people perish, but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.”

The Visionary Realm is a prophetic realm of the spirit and one of the ways that the Lord uses to speak to man. This scripture reveals a spiritual truth, a spiritual law. Spiritual laws govern the spiritual realm and natural laws, or scientific laws govern the natural realm, such as gravity, inertia, and relativity. Our ignorance or indifference to natural or spiritual law doesn’t change the fact that there is a cause and effect related to our activity in that realm.

When I heard this Scripture first spoken in church, I was disappointed. I didn’t have a vision. I didn’t understand the vision. So according to the law, I was doomed to perish, if it was in fact a spiritual truth. Proverbs are spiritual laws that can affect our lives in a practical way. The Bible is a guide to successful Christian living. Proverbs give us a practical view of how to apply these principles to our lives. It is essential that we understand vision and the visionary realm. We need to know how to catch a vision, how to cast the vision, and how to run with a vision. We need to know the difference between a personal vision, a corporate vision, and the Kingdom vision. We need to be able to spiritually discern between the vision of God and the vision of man.

One of the fastest ways to find yourself lost is by following someone who is going to a different destination. It is easy to be distracted or even deceived. When God’s vision is revealed, His sheep hear His voice. Those with a like spirit and like heart get a witness in their spirit. This confirms His Word. When the corporate or Kingdom vision of God is revealed or cast, those of like heart will find their piece and part of the vision. Their personal likes and vision that God has for them will obviously show the way the parts of the body of Christ will fit together for the fulfillment of the vision.

The Vision of God and the Visionary Realm

The Vision of God reveals the heart or the purpose of God. The Vision of Man reveals the heart or purpose of man in a particular situation. When people gather around the vision of God, they gather around the heart and purpose of God for that area, season, city, etc. In the visionary realm when we gather around the Vision of Man, we are not gathering around God, we are gathering around man. Man’s vision is measured in time, God’s vision is measured in eternity. His purposes are not carnal in nature, but spiritual. A prophetic people, a prophetic generation, will not only hear the voice of God but also respond and capture the vision. They will run with the vision.

Since God is not only the author of our faith, but also the finisher of our faith, and Jehovah Jireh our provider, He will bring together all the parts, pieces, people, and resources necessary not just to birth, but to build, sustain and maintain His Vision.

What has happened to Eagle Worldwide has very little to do with man or woman. In fact, most of the things that God has done through us, have been accomplished when I was nowhere around when the Visionary was nowhere to be found because it was not the vision of man but of God. Examples of Works Birthed in the Visionary Realm. All these aspects of the Ministry were birthed strictly through revelation given to us by the Lord through dreams, visions, and the prophetic word. Not only was the revelation given to us, but it was also confirmed by revelation from multiple sources who at the time, had no idea what the Lord was speaking to us. The Lord will always confirm His word.

God sends men and women of like heart and like spirit, who have captured the vision of God, and fulfill a portion of their personal vision and mission in life through the corporate and Kingdom Vision of God. It’s part of God’s plan for multiplication and duplication.

The Plan for the Harvest

Most men dream big dreams, but few wake up and make their dreams become reality. This usually comes from the understanding and the relationship that they have with God of applying the vision of God with the resources he sends, to develop: A MISSION, A STRATEGY, and AN ACTION PLAN.

It’s by active faith that we give our vision wings. It’s by unity of the Spirit and cooperation in the Spirit of unity that the commanded blessing of God is brought forth  Psalm 133 “Behold, how good and how pleasant it is for brethren to dwell together in unity! It is like the precious ointment upon the head, that ran down upon the beard, even Aaron’s beard: that went down to the skirts of his garments; As the dew of Hermon, and as the dew that descended upon the mountains of Zion: for there the LORD commanded the blessing, even life for evermore”.

We achieve this unity by learning how to pray together, how to plan together, and how to work together. This is God’s will for us. It’s reflected in the Lord’s Prayer for us in John 17, “Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me”.

When we get distracted, discouraged, divided, or in some measure of disunity by our personal initiative, ambition, or pride, we are not necessarily under a curse, because, Christ took the curse of the law upon Himself in Galatians 3:13 “Christ hath redeemed us from the curse of the law, being made a curse for us: for it is written, Cursed is every one that hangeth on a tree”; but the blessing of God and the anointing of God, is obviously not there. What we want to do is recapture the vision and blessing of God. When we find ourselves discouraged, distracted, or off-course let’s capture again the vision of God and not the vision of Man, let’s unite again around the vision of God.

There are a lot of good things to do, but we need to do the “God Thing.” Capture His vision, understand the mission, develop a strategy, write out an action plan according to Habakkuk 2: 1- 5 “I will stand upon my watch, and set me upon the tower, and will watch to see what he will say unto me, and what I shall answer when I am reproved. And the LORD answered me, and said, Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it. For the vision is yet for an appointed time, but at the end it shall speak, and not lie: though it tarry, wait for it; because it will surely come, it will not tarry. Behold, his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him: but the just shall live by his faith. Yea also, because he transgresseth by wine, he is a proud man, neither keepeth at home, who enlargeth his desire as hell, and is as death, and cannot be satisfied, but gathereth unto him all nations, and heapeth unto him all people,” and run with the vision in a spirit of unity and harmony.

Following God is not complicated. It is not necessarily easy, but it is not complicated. The thoughts and the mind of man, complicate the simplicity of the heart and purpose of God. He is not hard to catch, nor is his vision. He is not running away. He wants to be found by man. Let’s chase after God, not after man!

Let’s capture the Vision of God, and let’s run with it.
