After serving 11 years as an ordained Baptist minister across Canada, Jim Paul was sent out as a Vineyard Church planter to north Toronto in 1986. He was one of the first Vineyard pastors in Eastern Canada.
In 1988 he chose to close his church and join with John Arnott’s new work as it was starting, known as the “Toronto Airport Christian Fellowship” or now as “Catch The Fire – Toronto”
When the Holy Spirit fell on the Church in 1994, Jim was one of the first to be sent out to carry this revival around the world. From Australia to Sweden, from Japan to Iceland, Jim has been to 26 nations, spreading the fire of the Father’s love. The meetings are often manifested by a strong prophetic gift, word’s of knowledge for healing, miracles & angelic encounters. He has seen documented miracles of many kinds such as Alzheimer, deafness, knee damage all been healed in the meetings.
In 1996 John Arnott commissioned Jim and his wife Dianne to plant a new church out of TACF in his home city of Hamilton. “Eastgate Christian Fellowship” was birthed as the first “Partners In Harvest” church planted in this “presence based” move of God. It is now 18 years old and the Church has become an apostolic base for Jim and Dianne Paul’s ministry where they serve as Senior Pastors and are sent out as an “Itinerant Prophets” to the nations. He has also been publically recognized as a prophet in the “Partners in Harvest” denomination.
Jim has ministered in Healing / Prophetic conferences with Mahesh Chavda, Duncan Smith, Jefff Jansen, John Paul Jackson, Georgian Banov and others in the present day revival movement.
